Job Summary

Fabulous is looking for an experienced key holder within retail to take on a role of Senior Sales for our Solihull store, based in Touchwood Shopping Centre.

Candidates must have solid retail experience with good supervisory, management or leadership experience, ideally in a fashion, gifting or jewellery environment, and be able to hit the ground running at this busy time of year. The role is to support the Store Manager, who runs two stores, and provide day-to-day supervision of the in-store team of full- and part-time staff.

Fabulous is a retailer of affordable designer jewellery, stocking over 20 different brands and designers. We have a loyal customer base, so excellent customer service is a requirement of the role, along with a good knowledge of retail process and procedures. Jewellery product knowledge can be learned on-the-job.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service.
  • Opening and closing the store; cashing up and banking.
  • Day-to-day supervision and direction of the in-store team.
  • Hands-on customer service and sales skills.
  • Maintenance of high in-store standards of merchandising, display and cleanliness.
  • Following in-store procedures.
  • Maximising sales.
  • Ensuring security and H&S procedures are followed.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A good depth of retail experience, likely to be at least 2 to 3 years minimum, but probably 5 years+.
  • Supervisory or management experience within retail, to include keyholding, staff management and decision-making.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Personable, friendly approach.
  • Experience of following retail procedures, and understanding of retail processes.
  • People management experience.
  • Good references.
